Terms and Conditions for Contracting Activities
Canoas Oriente — Descent of the Sella river and Tour of the Covadonga Lakes.
Active tourism and adventure sports inherently involve potential risks. Guides and instructors possess the appropriate qualifications, training, and experience for the activities they lead. Safety depends on following their directions and instructions.
By booking an activity you accept these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy, which regulates the processing of your personal data.
Canoas Oriente is a brand of Naturaller SL (CIF B74439852), registered in the Register of Active Tourism Companies of the Principality of Asturias with the number TA-01-AS.
Services
- The activities offered are subject to the conditions of the environment in which they take place and of the people who participate, so they may change before or even during the activity (weather, environmental conditions, state of the river or roads, physical problems of the participants, etc.).
- The client is obligated to inform the organizer of any pregnancy, paraplegia, or cardiovascular disease before booking any activity. They also agree not to be under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or narcotics, or any medication that could impair their ability to react.
- The Canoas Oriente commitment begins with the booked activity. For activities with included transportation (Covadonga Lakes Tour), pick-up is at the agreed point and time; for activities without transportation (Sella Descent), it is the client's responsibility to arrange their own transportation to the meeting point.
Prices
- Prices are per person, include VAT, and apply to the minimum group size indicated for each activity. Unless otherwise stated, external services not specified (meals, entrance fees not included, etc.) are the responsibility of the client.
- For the Sella Descent, the price includes all necessary equipment (canoe, paddle, life jacket, and dry bag). For the Covadonga Lakes Tour, the price includes transportation from the pick-up point and a tour guide.
- Prices may vary depending on the season.
Insurance
The price includes roadside assistance insurance with coverage in case of emergency and/or accident. Canoas Oriente also has third-party liability insurance, with the coverage required by industry regulations.
Risk assumption and specific conditions of each activity
The descent of the Sella river in a canoe is an active tourism activity that takes place in the natural environment and carries a potential risk inherent to its own nature, derived from the aquatic environment, the terrain and the physical activity required.
By booking the Sella canyoning descent, the client acknowledges and voluntarily accepts the inherent risks, confirms they are in adequate physical condition, and agrees to follow the guides' instructions at all times. The activity requirements include: know how to swim, have a minimum height of one meter and 15 cm, and not remove the life jacket during the entire trip.
The Sella descent has its own information and declaration of responsibility, This document is given to and signed by each participant on the day of the activity, before it begins. Signing this document is a prerequisite for participation. Acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions implies prior knowledge of and agreement with the specific conditions of the activity, which the participant will expressly confirm by signing on the day of the activity.
These conditions do not exclude the rights that consumer legislation recognizes for the customer in the event of damages arising from negligent actions by the company or its guides.
Reservations, cancellations and payment methods
To make a reservation, it is essential to provide Name, surname, ID number, date of birth and telephone number of the participants, with the contracting party being responsible for these places. The activities require a minimum number of participants to take place; if this minimum is not reached, Canoas Oriente may cancel, postpone or refund the amount paid.
Payment of the full amount (or proportional deposit if indicated) by bank transfer, card, or cash. Canoas Oriente will confirm receipt and availability. Without a formal and confirmed reservation, participation is subject to availability.
Cancellation conditions by the customer
Refund if you cancel more than 48 hours in advance.

For group bookings, the loss only applies to those who do not show up. In the event of cancellation by Canoas Oriente, the client is entitled to postponement, substitution with another activity, or a refund. Upon confirmation of the booking, the client expressly accepts all of these Terms and Conditions; anyone registering other people assumes this acceptance on their behalf.
In accordance with Article 103.l) of the Consolidated Text of the General Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users, the right of withdrawal does not apply to leisure services that must be carried out on a specific date or period, such as Canoas Oriente activities. Their cancellation is governed by the conditions indicated above.
